The Sustainable Development Commission published “Prosperity Without Growth? – The Transition to a sustainable economy by Professor Tim Jackson in 2009. The report calls on world leaders to adopt a 12-step plan to make the transition to a fair, sustainable, low carbon economy.

In a presentation by Dr. Paul Connett he states that incinerators are an economic disaster.  The public do not find out how much they are paying for these things until it is too late.  Most of the money spent on incinerators goes into a few pockets and leaves the community.
