Autism Guernsey is looking for volunteers to undertake activities with an adult with autism and/ or a learning disability.

These could include activities like going for walks, visiting events, taking up a sport or just simply having a chat and a coffee in town.

It’s all about having a good time together.

Befriending is a great volunteering opportunity.

It provides you with valuable skills and new perspectives, it’s highly rewarding, fun and works around your time availability.

Autism Guernsey offers initial training and ongoing support and will reimburse any expenses incurred. No experience is required.

Please contact Autism Guernsey by telephone on 727965 or by email or visit the Autism Guernsey website if you would like to volunteer, if you are 18 years or older, have an open mind, and four hours to spare per month.

The Guernsey charity would love to hear from you. The deadline for applying is Sunday 16 February 2014.
