The Guernsey Voluntary Service has organised a ‘Nearly New Sale’ for Monday 15 April 2013 in the lovely ballroom of the newly refurbished Duke of Richmond Hotel,.

This prestigious event, supported by the Channel Islands Stock Exchange, will be the source of lots of wonderful bargains.

You might already be thinking of spring cleaning and clearing some space for all the new things you had for Christmas.  Or you may have bought something that is lovely but doesn’t fit, shoes that pinch, a colour that clashes, such as:

  • Dresses, skirts, trousers, sweaters, jackets, coats, evening wear etc
  • Shoes and other accessories such as handbags and hats
  • Jewellery

Please think of GVS and take these new or nearly new items to the Jubilee Day Centre, Grandes Maisons Road, St Sampson to help raise money for all the work the GVS do with the elderly in Guernsey.  All items should be clean and in good condition.

There will be further details of this event nearer the time but please start collecting items now.

The GVS is also organising a Bridge Tea on Friday 8 March 2013 and the Russels Spring Fayre takes place on Saturday 27 April 2013 at the Vale Douzaine Room.
