Guernsey cancer charity to benefit from Dom Heaume scoring goals for Guernsey FC

August 1st, 2012 by Goldridge Estate Agents

Goldridge Estate Agents is sponsoring Dom Heaume, one of Guernsey FC’s star strikers, for £25 for every goal he scores for the Green Lions during their 2012/13 campaign – with all the proceeds going to the player’s nominated charity Male Uprising Guernsey (MUG).

Explaining the firm’s decision to support Dom for a second successive season, Goldridge director Kelvin Seeds said “Dom has shown himself to be a great ambassador for Guernsey football we are confident he will carry on his successes of last season, which he completed as Guernsey FC’s second highest scorer and as the players’ player of the year.”

Dom said he was very grateful for the continued support from the firm, adding “the personal and friendly relationship I enjoy with the guys there makes everything so much easier and their idea to get involved with donating to MUG every time I score a goal gives me that added incentive to perform well this season, whilst giving something back to the community by way of charity”

“Thank you to all at Goldridge and I hope the 2012/13 season brings success for us all, both on and off the pitch.”

Welcoming the new sponsorship deal, MUG founder Trevor Kelham said “to have such a young role model as Dom becoming one of our ambassadors, following on from the fantastic support we already enjoy from Tony Vance‘s Green Lions, is fantastic and very much appreciated.”

“We are also grateful to Goldridge Estate Agents for their kind generosity. Together we can make a difference in the fight against male cancer.”
