Director of water services Andrew Redhead said: “The nature of Guernsey Water’s operations means that health and safety is of major importance to us as a business. We have staff and contractors working with dangerous chemicals, at height, in water, in confined spaces and in all weathers on a daily basis. It is therefore essential that we have clear procedures which ensure the safety of employees, contractors and the general public.”
