CIGPE hosts Guernsey Airport 2040 lecture on 25 January 2012

The Channel Islands Group of Professional Engineers (CIGPE) hosts a presentation by Gerry Prickett at 8 pm at the OGH Hotel in St Peter Port, Guernsey on 25 January 2012.

Mr. Prickett, Director of Civil Engineering and Project Manager for TPS Consult, oversees the Guernsey Airport 2040 contract on behalf of the States of Guernsey.

The Guernsey airport project is the largest development at the airfield in its 72 year history.  It is also one of the most complex capital projects ever undertaken in Guernsey.

Mr. Prickett’s presentation, which is free, is preceded by a CIGPE dinner at OGH Hotel beginning at 6.30 pm.

Gerry Prickett is a chartered engineer with more than 35 years of experience. He project managed the £45 million runway upgrade in the Isle of Man; oversaw developments at Heathrow Terminal 5, Gatwick, Stansted, and Glasgow Prestwick; and has managed airport construction projects in Ghana and Madrid.

Mr. Prickett will outline some of the major aspects of aviation infrastructure projects.
