As a franchise of thebestofUnitedKingdom, The Best of Guernsey promotes Guernsey businesses through their business directory, and with their regular social networking events.

Their website provides a Local Information links page to useful services and a comprehensive Events webpage.

Kate Heywood, Managing Director, writes “As well as promoting and representing some of the best businesses on the island, The Best of Guernsey are very keen to support all things ‘local’, including charitable organisations, local sports groups and special events.”

The best of Guernsey provides local businesses with an effective low-cost online presence and a host of other marketing initiatives.  It champions its business members to the local community.

One of the unique features of the website is its testimonial webpage.  Members of the public can recommend Guernsey businesses by providing a testimonial by writing about what they love about the business. Businesses receiving the most positive testimonials receive an award during a networking event.

Nicole Bromley, Marketing Officer, writes, “Our aim is to build a sense of community and to make us all proud of where we live. We aim to promote the best things about Guernsey.”

Business members pay a subscription, but members of the public can sign-up to the website to receive offers from best of Guernsey businesses. Signing-up to the website allows members of the public to post testimonials, and add charitable, school, and sports events to the Events calendar.
