Can walking to work save the polar bear?

Climate change is reducing the number of months that polar bears can hunt on Arctic sea ice.  As a consequence the polar bear population in the Hudson Bay area is declining.

Human induced climate change occurs as we emit more greenhouse gases into the atmosphere from the burning of fossil fuels, and other processes, than nature can absorb.

Nature’s production and absorption of greenhouse gases was balanced until the Industrial revolution increased greenhouse gas emissions.  Atmospheric greenhouse gas concentrations are increasing year on year.  Climate change in the polar regions is accelerating.
