The market provides a cheerful, social atmosphere were friends can gather to share a cup of tea or coffee. The market is popular with residents of Maison Maritaine from across the road.

To sell at the market you must become a member of the Country Market by buying a share for five pence. All suppliers of prepared food must possess a level 2 food hygiene certificate, which can be obtained through the College of Further Education.
