The Guernsey Botanical Trust‘s Victorian walled kitchen garden in Saumarez Park, Castel has been developed by volunteers. Orchard house has built with the help of a generous donation from State Street. It extends the kitchen garden’s area under glass considerably, and supplements the original Lemon House.

State Street employees remove invasive species from L’Eree headland

L’Eree headland will be a more welcoming environment to native vegetation and wildlife after employees from State Street cleared sour figs, Carpobrotus edulis, which had infested the area.
