James Meller of Rocquette Cider received almost 8000 kgs. of apples from Guernsey residents, who brought them to St. Andrew’s Apple Day in carrier bags or supermarket boxes. Rocquette Cider paid 13 pence per kilo or paid in cider for good quality apples received.

In celebration of St. Andrew’s Apple Day The Guernsey Cider Company which produces Rocquette Cider will be purchasing apples off the public (or swapping apples for cider) between 11 am and 3 pm on Sunday 3rd October in the Blanchelande College Grounds.
