Electric garbage collection lorries begin operation in Paris

SITA begin use of electric garbage collection lorries in Paris.  The first neighbourhood to receive them is the Paris suburb of Courbevoie.  The lorries have lithium-ion batteries that provides power for eight hours before needing to be recharged.
