Boxing Day English Channel dip in aid of Guernsey Cheshire Home

The 13th annual Guernsey Cheshire Home Boxing Day Dip in Cobo Bay, Guernsey began at 10.00 am. Castel douzenier Dave Chester began the Boxing Day dip for the Beau Sejour Swimming Club in 1999 to raise money in aid of the people who suffered from the terrible flooding in Vargas State, Venezuela.

The pleasure of Guernsey Bicycle Group summer evening rides

On Tuesday 28 June 2011 the Guernsey Bicycle Group riders met at Le Friquet Garden Centre.  The group included visitors to the island that regularly participate in GBG’s summer evening rides. The Guernsey Bicycle Group summer evening rides demonstrate how ideally suited the bicycle is for traveling around Guernsey.
