The Big Soup Kitchen Challenge 2012 takes place in the Town Church, St Peter Port from 11.30 am to 2 pm on Tuesday, 4 December 2012. The soup challenge, which takes place entirely inside the Town Church this year, will be opened by the Lieutenant Governor Air Marshall Peter Walker.

The Guernsey Chamber of Commerce raised at their annual dinner more than £3000 for Guernsey Disability Alliance. His Excellency the Lieutenant-Governor of Guernsey, Air Marshal Peter Walker, as Patron of the Guernsey Chamber of Commerce, presented to Shelaine Green, Chair of Guernsey Disability Alliance, the proceeds of the fund raising.
