Sir Bradley Wiggins attracts cycling fans to the St Peter Port waterfront

The ‘Cycling Sunday’ events included a race for Guernsey deputies and civil servants.

Headway Guernsey and the male cancer charity Male Uprising Guernsey (MUG) raised funds at ‘Cycling Sunday’.

Volunteers from both charities handed out yellow ‘Wiggo 101’ and ‘Guernsey Rides for Bradley’ t-shirts to members of the public, who provided donations to the charities.

Yellow and blue foam moustaches were also distributed to cyclists to make one think about MUG’s male cancers awareness campaign.

Yellow ‘Wiggo 101’ and ‘Guernsey Rides for Bradley’ t-shirts were also handed out to sponsored cyclists taking part in the ‘Guernsey Rides for Bradley’ family cycling event.

The sponsorship money raised went to Sir Bradley Wiggins’ charitable foundation as well as Male Uprising Guernsey and Headway Guernsey.

During a heavy downpour Sir Bradley Wiggins congratulated prize winners in the commentary box.
