Tickets have gone on sale for the charity gala dinner that will take place at Beau Sejour Leisure Centre at 7 pm on 18 October 2013 to celebrate the Guernsey launch of 101 – The Official Bradley Wiggins Opus.

Sir Bradley Wiggins will visit Guernsey over the weekend of 18 to 20 October 2013.

The recent winner of the Tour Of Britain will be the guest of honour at the evening event.

Other items in the auction will include a 1966 World Cup Final Programme signed by Bobby Moore and a signed Barcelona FC shirt which was signed by the whole team including footballers Messi, Iniesta, Guardiola, Xavi, Puyol after their last Champions League win.

There will be a chance to buy one of the official Sir Bradley Wiggins Opus books and have it signed by Sir Bradley Wiggins.

Karl Fowler, Opus CEO, said ‘the news of Sir Bradley Wiggins’ visit to the island has been met with huge enthusiasm and excitement.”

“There is no doubt that this dinner will be a night to remember. He will be visiting Guernsey after competing in the UVI World Championships in Florence and we are planning a number of community wide cycling events for the weekend,” he said.
