Cool, sunny weather provided perfect conditions for a tour of the rural lanes of the parishes of Forest, St Pierre du Bois, and Torteval.

Guernsey Bicycle Group (GBG) summer evening rides reveal Guernsey at its finest. The 4 June 2013 route took cyclists through some of Guernsey most beautiful bucolic scenery.

Cyclists rode through blossom-scented countryside air, and heard mellifluous bird song from nearby trees and hedgerows.

GBG summer evening rides are relaxed, social occasions that provide plenty of opportunity to chat to fellow cyclists.

Cyclists enjoyed a variety of scenery from Guernsey’s spectacular south coast cliffs to lush, narrow tracks; pastures, and granite farm cottages.

The Guernsey Bicycle Group summer evening ride of Tuesday 11 June begins at 7 pm at North Beach car park, St Peter Port.
