Kevin Sharpe of Zero Carbon World will be giving a talk on transport policy and electric cars at Société Jersiaise in Pier Road, St Helier, Jersey on Tuesday 15 January 2013 beginning at 8:00 pm.

This talk is pertinent to both Guernsey and Jersey, as Guernsey’s Environment Department is developing an ‘on-island transport strategy‘, and the States of Jersey has recently published their energy paper, which relies heavily on road transport changes to meet Jersey’s emission targets.

J-CAN is grateful to Roger and Hazel who recommended Kevin Sharpe after hearing him speak at a meeting in the UK, and to Jersey Electricity for sponsoring his talk.

Kevin Sharpe will be in Jersey from 14 to 18 January 2013 to meet officers at Transport and Technical Services and others, and to conduct media interviews.
