The filled baguette sandwiches for £3 were popular and very well received by St Peter Port office workers.

Café Bon Port prepared two pork loins on their first outing at the Fresh Friday Market and sold out.

Shaun McDonald, Bon Port Hotel General Manager, was pleased to be part of the market.

“We bought the pork from Ray Watts. We can prepare beef or Sark lamb as well, which we can also purchase from him,” Shaun McDonald said.

“We will also speak to Kevin Driscoll of Patois Pork.”

“We’ll see what we can purchase locally. The more people we can buy off locally the more chance we have of a regular supply,” he said.
