Guernsey Conservation Volunteers working at Marais Rise Reed Bed on 27 October 2012

October 22nd, 2012 by Guernsey Conservation Volunteers

The Guernsey Conservation Volunteers will clear growth to ground level at the Marais Rise Reed Bed beginning at 10 am on Saturday 27 October 2012. The GCV are doing this to create a reed bed and new habitat for birds.

Please bring sturdy boots to cope with the uneven ground the GCV will be working on.

If arriving by car please park at Perry’s page H1 and walk to the location at Perry’s page 17 G1 to find the work party.

Please note there is no parking at Marais Rise. Please park along the sea front or in the Halfway car park.

Directions: Go to the Red Lion roundabout. Go north towards The Bridge. The first turning on the left after the Red Lion is Marais Rise.

Marais Rise is a dead end. The reed bed is on the right at the end of Marais Rise.
