Guernsey Voluntary Service seeks escort, craft maker, and hairdresser

The Guernsey Voluntary Service (GVS) is looking for volunteers who can go out as an escort on the minibus from the Jubilee Day Centre on a Monday (alternate weeks) from about 9.15 am.

This is a most enjoyable job that involves a leisurely drive around sunny Guernsey on an Autumn day, enjoying the coastal scenery, and the company of people looking forward to their day out.

The Jubilee Day Centre is also looking for someone to help our clients with craft making on a Wednesday afternoon. You don’t have to be an expert in craft making. We just need a push in the right direction to make simple crafts to sell at our fayres. Coffee, tea and cake will be provided.
