Guernsey cow painting auction in aid of Guernsey Voluntary Service

The painting of a Guernsey cow is being auctioned in aid of Guernsey Voluntary Service.

The framed oil painting has been kindly donated by London-based artist Peter Hawkins, who won the inaugural Mourant Stepping Up Art Competition in January 2007.

The painting, which is valued at £300, is 45 cm by 45 cm. The reserve price is £50.

The painting will be on display at:

  • Jubilee Day Centre from today until Thursday 10 May 2012
  • Royal Guernsey Golf Club from Friday 11 May until Tuesday 15 May 2012
  • Jubilee Day Centre from Wednesday 16 May until Wednesday 23 May 2012
  • the General Meeting on Thursday 24 May 2012.

Bidding will end on Friday 25 May 2012 at 1 pm. The winning bid will be announced on Monday 28 May 2012.

You are invited to make a bid over the reserve price.
