The Guernsey Chamber of Commerce invites you to the Environmental Intelligence seminar at La Seigneurie Suite in St Pierre Park Hotel, St Peter Port at 8 am on 3 April 2012.
This seminar is a great opportunity to learn about how businesses can operate in a more environmentally intelligent manner, and reap the benefits by reduced costs, and reduce their impact on the environment.
Three experts will present case studies on how their organisations have adopted an environmentally intelligent approach to business.
Richard Parker writes “Worldwide IT infrastructure now exceeds the airline industry for carbon emissions. The growth of the Internet has spawned thousands of data centres around the world and Guernsey is no exception in that Internet traffic exceeds that of South Africa. Guernsey has 12 commercial data centres supporting this activity.”
Richard Parker will share ITEX philosophy on environmental intelligence and the experience of implementing an Environmental Management System. He will also broaden the talk to discuss the impact of technological innovation and new service delivery models, which reduce customer costs while promoting a better environment.
If you would like to join us for this free event, which is kindly sponsored by Comprop (CI) Ltd, please contact clare.parkinson @ guernseychamber.com to reserve your place.
Tea, coffee and biscuits are available prior to the presentation.
