e-si seeks renewable energy engineer for expanding business

e-si wishes to hire another renewable energy engineer with mechanical knowledge to expand its technical services and installations team to increase service, maintenance & jobbing works capabilities.

An advanced understanding of hydronics, electronics, electromechanical engineering is a standard requirement.

Qualification to or working towards HNC, HND or Degree level is necessary in a relevant engineering subject.

Job description

Commissioning: Heat pumps, solar heating & photovoltaic’s, under floor heating, radiators, control systems.

Basic Jobbing: Fitting radiators, taps, minor electrical works, deaeration, system flushing.

Quality Control: Ensure the installation team are working to high standards.

Installations: Assisting the installers as and when necessary.

Servicing & Maintenance: heat pumps, boilers, controls, solar thermal.

To be a cross-disciplinary ‘Renewable Energy Engineer’, training and certification in renewable energy technologies is obligatory by our in-house Academy, and as required, by manufacturers or other recognised bodies.

Additional qualification training will be welcome such as Part P Electrical and F-Gas refrigeration certification.
