For 2 weeks from 19 February 2012 single-flow traffic along Les Bas Courtils Road on east coast

February 10th, 2012 by Guernsey Water

Guernsey Water’s wastewater section will shortly be carrying out foul water connection refurbishment works along Les Bas Courtils Road in St Sampson.

The two-week project will begin on Sunday 19 February 2012, and will require the closure of Delancey Lane and the implementation of single-flow traffic under the control of temporary traffic lights along Les Bas Courtils Road on Guernsey’s east coast.

A section of the cycle lane will also be closed for the duration of the works.

Director of water services Andrew Redhead said “this project is part of our ongoing programme of refurbishment of the foul water system. Working with our contractors Geotrant, we will endeavour to minimise inconvenience to the public for the duration of the works.”

For more information on the traffic management arrangements for this project, please visit the Islands Roadworks Information Service or contact the Environment Department’s Traffic and Transport Services section on 243400.
