Free breakfast presentations to celebrate Guernsey’s Fairtrade status

Guernsey gained recognition from the Fairtrade Foundation as a Fairtrade Island in March 2006. Now islanders are even bigger supporters of the principles of the Fairtrade movement.

In celebration of the Fairtrade movement, we are delighted to welcome Sophi Tranchell MBE, Managing Director of Divine Chocolate Ltd, to participate in a business breakfast panel presentation from 8 to 9.00 am on Wednesday 12 October 2011.

The panel presentation titled “Does the west have something to learn from the developing world about the role women can play in business and politics?” takes place in the Harry Bound Room at Les Cotils Christian Centre, St Peter Port, Guernsey.

Joining Sophi on the panel will be Deputy Carol Steere, Michelle Johansen, of Johansen Executive Coaching, and Debbie Smith, KPMG Business Development Manager. The panel will be chaired by Reverend Mike Keirle.
