A programme of essential maintenance and improvements is planned at Guernsey Airport, which may equip the airport to serve the island for the next 30 years.

This project represents the largest development since the current airfield opened in 1939.  The project is also one of the biggest and most complex construction projects ever undertaken locally.

Next month, the States will be asked to approve the final budget for the project and approve the contractor to carry out the works.
