April 20th, 2011 by The Gallery
The Mad Hatters Children’s Street Festival takes place from 2 to 5 pm on Saturday 21 May 2011 in the Old Quarter of St. Peter Port, Guernsey. It is going to be fun.
Do you want to make your own Mad Hatter’s hat? What about some potato stamping bunting? Or perhaps you’d enjoy putting on a chef‘s hat and making your own bread???At the Old Quarter Street Party you can try all these strange things as well as eating sticky cakes, drinking local cider, decorating cakes, buying children’s clothes, bouncing on the castle, learning historical hat making and getting that balloon hat you’ve always known you needed.
There are free drinks from the Trinity Church stall, free hat-making at The Gallery and a free Hat Hunt treasure trail.
Come by bicycle or put the car on the Pier and walk on up, or park at Frossard House and walk on down.
Dress code: hats.
Email gen @ thegallery.gg or Deirdre @ fws.gg to ask anything you’d like to know.
