Investec teams up with Floral St Peter Port to beautify the grounds at Amherst Primary School

A team of twenty volunteers from Investec spent the morning of Saturday 16 April 2011 with Floral St Peter Port team members beautifying the grounds of Amherst Primary School by restoring playground benches, weeding garden borders, painting tyre planters for potatoes and other crops, and adding compost to garden beds, and planting and watering strawberry and raspberry plants.

Investec’s thorough spring clean of Amherst Primary School’s outdoor furniture and garden beds is in preparation for assisting the children with the weekly after-school Gardening Club.

Investec has adopted Amherst Primary School.  Their employees visit the school regularly to help children with their reading.

Investec employees varnished and painted the Amherst Primary School pirate ship to restore it to its former glory.
