In celebration of St. Andrew’s Apple Day The Guernsey Cider Company which produces Rocquette Cider will be purchasing apples off the public (or swapping apples for cider) between 11 am and 3 pm on Sunday 3rd October in the Blanchelande College Grounds.
In addition to the Annual Rocquette Cider Apple Exchange, there will be apple-themed farmers’ market stalls. Meadow Court farm will sell apple and pork hotdogs. There will be home-made produce for sale, home-made cakes, afternoon tea, cookery demonstrations, music and dancing, children’s games and a bouncy castle. Professional advice on growing apples will be on offer as well as an opportunity to have apples identified. The Guernsey Cider Company will be selling their Rocquette cider.
