Introduce Paid Parking

Of the 63 who responded 38% supported paid parking against 46.2% who were against paid parking.

Relocate car parking from piers to the edge of Town

Of the 60 who responded 40% agreed that car parking should be relocated from the piers to the edge of Town and almost 57% disagreed.

Improve cycle lanes and walking routes

Over 85% of the respondents agreed that cycle lanes and walking routes should be improved.

Create a pedestrian priority sea front

Of the 62 respondents almost 47% supported the creation of a pedestrian priority sea front and almost 42% disagreed.

Provide more secure storage for bicycles and shower facilities for bicyclists

Of the 60 respondents over 63% agreed that more secure storage for bicycles and shower facilities for bicyclists should be provided.

Make improvements to public transport provision such as a modern sheltered bus terminus and a shuttle service between transport hubs

Of the 62 respondents over 83 % agreed that improvements should be made to Guernsey’s public transport provision.

Provide an enhanced rapid transit service between Town and the Bridge

Of the 61 respondents over 67 % supported the provision of an enhanced rapid transit service between Town and the Bridge.

Provide safe and convenient links using existing highways and networks of ruette tranquilles and green lanes.

Of the 61 respondents over 55 % supported the provision of safe and convenient links using existing highways and networks of ruette tranquiles and green lanes.  Almost 30% were undecided and less than 15% disagreed.
