The “Air Quality in Guernsey” report is the first comprehensive ‘air quality screening and assessment’ that has been produced for Guernsey.  The report focuses on sources and levels of local ambient (outdoor) air pollution in comparison with the standards and objectives set in UK law.

The report details specific air pollutants including benzene; 1,3 butadiene; carbon monoxide; lead; nitrogen dioxide; ozone; particulate matter (PM10 and PM2.5); sulphur dioxide; arsenic; cadmium; nickel; benzoapyrene; and other volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
