Futuresource Trade Show – Europe’s Sustainability Event

May 12th, 2010 by Richard Lord

Futuresource will be held at the ExCel exhibition centre in London from 15 to 17 June, 2010.  Futuresource is an international conference and trade fair for waste, environment, and sustainability industry professionals.  It is a joint venture from the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management (CIWM) and the Environmental Services Association (ESA).

Last year 7,500 people from 52 countries attended Futuresoure.  This year the event is expected to attract 350 exhibitors.  There is also a free seminar programme offering over 40 presentations.

The event will cover recycling and composting; waste and water management; professional services; air, energy and climate change; street and facilities management, and vehicles and plants.

Exhibitors will show the latest ‘green machines’ in a Plant and Vehicle Zone.  A new ZEV Zone will be an interactive demonstration area for low and zero emission vehicles for the waste and recycling sector.  More compact and environmentally friendly collection vehicles, materials handlers and sweepers will be on display.
