Crop Mobbing for Farming and Food

May 11th, 2010 by Richard Lord

Farmers and farmers’ friends are coming together for their mutual benefit and for the benefit of the community.

In late 2008 Adah Frase and fellow North Carolina farmers began the Crop Mob.

Adah Frase believed that people would build stronger relationships with others by working side-by-side rather than just sitting around and talking about shared problems.  His idea was to bring people together to help each other out, build a community and share a meal.  The concept is explained in How to Start a Crop Mob.
