Good Foundations – Towards a low carbon, high well-being built environment

April 22nd, 2010 by Richard Lord

February 2010: The New Economics Foundation (NEF) have produced a report, Good Foundations, commissioned by the Happold Trust, which explores how architects, engineers, planners and policymakers can ensure that new development projects work for people and the planet.

The report is targeted at those involved in the day-to-day creation of urban neighbourhoods and places – master planners, designers, developers, architects, engineers – as well as at local authorities and their partners who play a strategic leadership role with regard to setting the vision and frameworks which guide local action.
